Mission

The Sea of Dania is an organization whose mission is to promote
the early diagnosis of and early intervention for infants that are at potential risk for autism spectrum disorders or other genetic disorders through the support of evidence-based research.

Our Goal

1. To promote research projects and clinical examinations to expectant parents and families of young children that screen for early detection of potential markers of autism spectrum or other genetic disorders.

1 out of every 88 children will be diagnosed with Autism (www.autismspeaks.org)
Boys are diagnosed at a higher rate with 1 out of every 54 boys being diagnosed 

2. To assist families to access early intervention programs and medical treatment prior to age 2.

3. To provide grants that support research related to identifying risk factors leading to early detection and intervention.
